Learn to be aware of the rational lies your brain tells you
Much of the way the brain works is hard-wired, but not in a way that is irreversible. The first step is to be aware that your brain will tell you “rational lies” to keep you safe. These are quick conclusions your brain contrives with the limited data it has to work with. It’s a natural thing – you just need to know how to handle it in an empowering way. You can overcome this barrier to bold living by doing what John calls, “Innercise.” The first two steps of innercise he recommends are – #1 – Take 6 deep breaths – in through the nose and blowing out through the mouth as if you were blowing through a straw. This biologically works to deactivates the emotion of fear. Then, #2 – Practice this trio of skills: awareness – intention – action. John explains these steps in the conversation, so take the time to listen so you can apply these quick but powerful actions in your own life.
What does a baby believe about how much money they will be able to earn?
Just asking the question may sound a bit silly, but consider the implications. As babies, we have zero understanding of financial issues and zero beliefs about our ability to earn money (or not). So where do beliefs come from? From experience. From parents. From reading and education. So, if we have a negative or unhealthy financial mindset, there’s good news for us – we can relearn. In this conversation, John explains how we can start on the path of reprogramming our brains to think in more healthy, positive, and empowering ways that will enable us to create the financial future we want for ourselves and our loved ones.

How the right financial mindset can impact the amount of money you make
As Henry Ford once said, “If you think you can or think you can’t, you are right.” That is especially true when it comes to financial issues. What you believe about your opportunities and abilities to earn and generate wealth will directly affect the things you do. John Assaraf has spent years studying the brain and he’s found that anyone, no matter their current financial status, can directly impact their ability to earn money – which can dramatically change their lives. You’ve got to listen to what John has to share – and to hear how you can get involved in his 8-hour free training, coming up in October of 2018. Listen for all the details!
Don’t focus on your current results, focus on what has caused those results
One of the traps we get into as human beings is our obsession with failure. Let’s take a financial downturn as an example: We can get our focus set so firmly on the bad results that have happened, we spiral downward – condemning and shaming ourselves instead of doing something about the situation. John Assaraf says we must learn how to get out of the habit of focusing on our current results and instead, focus on what caused those results. That’s the only way we can assess what really happened, adjust our course, and change the outcome. Listen to hear how John teaches people all over the world to change their financial situation by changing their financial mindset. It’s all on this episode.
